Roles: Intern and/or Assistant 

Compensation: $16-$28/hr depending on skills/experience/position*

Schedule: 8-20 hours per week 

Location: Remote or SF Bay Area*

If you're also cheerful, globally and environmentally minded, and eager to help, then we'd love for you to apply! *We can currently make space for a marketing coordinator (remote or SF Bay Area), a project assistant (SF Bay Area), or a general intern (remote or SF Bay Area).

First-hand knowledge and experience of the design industry is appreciated but not required. Responsibilities may include the following based on qualifications and interest: social media, photography, graphic design, analytics, and marketing work; or, site visits, managing samples, vendor communication, quality control, and administrative work. 

 

Skills and qualities we are looking for: 

• Exceptional organization 

• Excellent verbal and written communication 

• Creative and artistic sensibilities 

• Resourcefulness 

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively 

• Comfortability with deadlines and punctuality

• Understanding of basic design concepts

 

Recommended software skills:

• Mac-based platform familiarity

• Photoshop or Affinity Photo

• Layout such as Illustrator, Canva, etc.

• Microsoft Office or equivalent

• Instagram 

• Any other design software (CAD, SketchUp, etc.)

 

Experience or Interest a plus: 

• Marketing 

• Videography 

• Spreadsheets

• Retail or sourcing products
