Interested in working remotely? Are you smart, exceptionally well-organized, and self-motivated? Do you see yourself as a good fit for our team, such as being discerning and dependable? We also think of ourselves as cheerful, earnest, globally and environmentally minded, and eager to help. 

 

Our team is spread out and most work fully remotely. Depending on responsibilities, we'd expect 15-30 hours/week, but schedule, compensation, and benefits are flexible depending on you. 

First-hand knowledge and experience of the design industry appreciated but not required. Work is a range of administrative, clerical, design, and marketing tasks. Specific responsibilities are flexible but generally include:

  • scheduling and logistics;

  • client, tradesperson, and vendor communication;

  • billing;

  • research;

  • developing and presenting design concepts;

  • social media;

  • and working with both more junior and senior team members.

Skills and qualities strongly preferred: exceptional organization; excellent communication; creative and artistic sensibilities; resourcefulness; professional writing; ability to work both independently and collaboratively; comfortability with deadlines and punctuality; and understanding of basic design concepts.

 

Recommended software skills include the following or equivalent: Mac-based platform familiarity, Photoshop, Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Instagram. Interest in the following a plus: AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit; accounting.
